Request a PIN code

Belangrijk: 
- Guest users with a library card cannot access the print portal or request a PIN.
- It may take around 15 minutes for your PIN to be activated. You will only be able to use the PIN once this has happened.
- The PIN is valid for a limited time: 1 day for all users.

In the print portal, you request a PIN to log in to a printer.

1. Go to print.uva.nl
2. Log in with your UvAnetID or with your guest account.
3. You will receive a verification code via email. Enter this code to confirm your identity (two-step verification).  
4. Click the button.
5. Click [PIN code].
   
   
    
6. Click [Request new PIN code]. Your new PIN is shown.
   You also receive a mail with your new PIN.
7. Log out:
   - students & employees: click X in your browser's tab to log out. Note that you are not really logged out until all tabs are closed. 
   - guest users: click the button and then click [Logout].
    

Tip: In the Campus Print app, you can also see the PIN.

Make sure you have installed the Campus Print app on your smartphone or tablet. (Install the Campus Print app)

1. Open the Campus Print app.
2. Select UvA als your location.
3. If you have not previously logged into the app, log in with your UvAnetID or guest account.
4. You will receive a verification code via email. Enter this code to confirm your identity.  
5. Tap [Log in to the printer].
6. Tap [Show my PIN]. Your pin code is displayed.
